7. Dr. Maarten Van Genechten uses camera surveillance at its headquarters and at the locations of its various branches for security reasons. The policy of Dr. Maarten Van Genechten regarding its camera surveillance and the processing of Personal Data in this context is in full compliance with applicable legislation including, in particular, the Act of March 21, 2007 regulating the placement and use of surveillance cameras and the Royal Decree of May 8, 2018 on the declarations of the placement and use of surveillance cameras and on the register of image processing activities of surveillance cameras.

If and when your registration on the Website or use of the Website or Services may be considered (a) a violation of the Terms or property rights, (b) a threat to the security or integrity of our services, (c) a danger to the Website or Services or systems of us or our subcontractors due to viruses, Trojan horses, spyware, malware, or any other form of malicious code, or (d) in any way illegal or unlawful, discriminatory or offensive, we may process your data in the interest of ourselves, our partners or third parties.

Your rights regarding personal data

Please note that you have the following rights regarding our processing of your personal data:

1. Right of access: You have the right to request access free of charge to any personal data we process about you. However, requests for access made with the apparent intention of causing inconvenience or damage to us will not be processed.
2. Right of rectification: You have the right to request that any personal data about you that is incorrect or inaccurate be rectified free of charge. If you have registered on our Website, you can correct many of these data yourself via your profile. If such a request is made, you must also enclose with that request proof that the personal data for which correction is requested is inaccurate.

4. Right to erasure of Personal Data: you have the right to erasure of all your Personal Data (except in some cases, for example, to prove a transaction or when required by law).

Right to restrict processing: Instead of deletion, you can also ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data if (a) you dispute the accuracy of those data, (b) the processing is unlawful or (c) the data are no longer necessary for the stated purposes, but you need them to defend yourself in legal proceedings.

Right to object: You have the right to object to the processing of personal data if you can demonstrate that there are serious and legitimate reasons related to special circumstances that justify such an objection. However, if the intended processing is classified as direct marketing, you have the right to oppose such processing free of charge and without justification.
7. Right to transferability of personal data: When your personal data are processed on the basis of consent or on the basis of a contract and the processing is done by automated means, you may receive your provided personal data in a structured format.
8. If you wish to make a request to exercise one or more of the rights listed above, please send an e-mail to info@maartenvangenechten.be. This request must clearly state which right you wish to exercise and why. It must also be dated and signed and accompanied by additional information confirming your identity. If the request proves to be valid, we will grant it as soon as reasonably possible and no later than thirty (30) days after receipt of the request. In the event that multiple requests are made to us or if the request is complex, this one (1) month period may be extended for a further two (2) months. In such case, 27 On The Road will notify you of such extension within one (1) month of receiving the request.
